The regional government has approved an agreement between the Community, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) and the Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena for the service day center for elderly dependents at the municipal center El Algar.

Under the agreement, the institute will receive 336,000 euros from the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration to provide the service.

The center, which holds 20 seats, provides basic care including assistance in activities of daily living and accessible transportation service.

Also, its users access to specialized care social, psychological, occupational therapy and various programs of empowerment and the maintenance of mental capacity, among others.
