On the morning of Sunday April 10, 2011 took place in the nearby town of La Union holding the march of Hannibal III and Himilce, organized by the General Staff Carthaginés, the Court of Princess Himilce and Residents Association Union.
In the third year in a row that the event takes place, we went to visit some of the mining sites in the mountains of La Union, such as the Quarry Brunito, the head split and the Mining Museum in La Union.
Thus, the event became a day of living which brought together a good atmosphere festive with cultural and scenic values ​​of the chosen thematic area and made this new march carried the nickname "Silver Road" recalling the work of the extraction of this precious metal with which the Carthaginians financed his expedition and war against Rome.
The activity again returned to it with an extensive participation, participating in it more than 80 people, who accompanied the Carthaginians characters for about 3 hours-long tour Brunito Cantera, Cabezo Rajao and Mining Museum, and later end up in Public Market Union, which hosted more formal act of the day, calling for a snack and giving participants the Neighborhood Association and the Municipality of La Union a gift commemorating the event in appreciation of services rendered and cooperative support for the organization and implementation of our event.
