The Office of Local Police Traffic has during these days to the management of parking on the beach of El Portus, with a view to Easter and the subsequent arrival of good weather, it creates a rush at this point the coast, near the city of Cartagena.
Specifically, have ordered 78 parking spaces, which have added two more seats for the disabled and two reserves spaces for motorcycles.
Local police sources have indicated that this measure will resolve and discipline the parking area, especially in summer, where the number of vehicles increased significantly causing problems with mobility and parking to the residents of the beach.
The lack of signaling caused a waste of parking spaces available and some vehicles blocked traffic and outputs of some homes.
The measure had been applied to the City by the neighborhood association and the City Neighborhood Council.
