The Federation of Organizations for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and Cerebral Palsy in the Region of Murcia (FEAPS) has awarded the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena for his work in the workplace integration of this group.
The endorsement by the creation of employment for a disabled person to attend the delivery of which the Councillor for Employment, Ruth Collins, will be awarded during the gala of the XV Laurel Awards to be held on Thursday 24 March at 12.00 hours at the auditorium of the CROEM.
It is about accolades given annually in recognition of the employment of people with disabilities in businesses and administrations.
Besides the awards, AES Cartagena DIEGO ZAMORA, among others, various references are given to new members of the Youth Employment Network, Network uses within the Unit which includes the elderly and disabled in the Department of Social Care City of Cartagena.
In total, 20 companies and institutions will be recognized certifying them as partners in creating employment for people with intellectual disabilities.
In total there are over 300 companies and institutions that provide and promote employment of 331 workers with intellectual disabilities.
Institutions is very different economic sectors and local government departments to collaborate in some way with the associations.
In doing so, these entities become part of the Employment Network FEAPS Murcia
The 20 companies and institutions that have opted for one of these options for 2010 are:
