The working committees of the PP in Cartagena have traveled the entire municipality (16/03/2011)

"For nearly three months, the eight working committees of PP found around the town of Cartagena, performing sectoral meetings with about 700 people representing residents, associations and groups Cartagena," stressed the president of the PP, Francisco Celdran, in an appearance before the media that has been made this morning at the headquarters of the PP.

Celdran has been accompanied by the general coordinator of the commission and council, José Vicente Albaladejo, which has submitted final accounts of the meetings held by the Popular Party.

"In total, there have been 58 meetings with 48 groups of Cartagena, where they have collected hundreds of proposals relating to the promotion of tourism, improvements in rail infrastructure, greater control over compliance with municipal ordinances, particularly in the field of clean road, pets, as well as continuing work on the removal of architectural barriers to improve the quality of life for all people of Cartagena, "said the general coordinator.

Among the topics discussed in these meetings, many entrepreneurs as the residents have highlighted the great efforts made by the PP in recent years to ensure that tourism becomes a major economic engines of our town.

To do this, have insisted that the vast tourist offer of the town was completed with the opening of the Auditorium and Congress Hall, which will promote conference tourism and attract visitors from throughout the Spanish territory.

In this sense, one of the main demands was the need for the AVE arrives to Cartagena, a priority infrastructure that will connect the town with the rest of Spain in less time, and that will be essential for economic development and tourist city.

Celdran has very much appreciated the meetings held with all groups and neighbors.
