PP: "The government did not study the unfolding of La Manga to the fiasco of the last work" (24/02/2011)

The Municipal spokesperson PP, Joaquin Mowing, said that "the unfolding of the exit for La Manga was not even considered by the Ministry until there were complaints of citizens and the Popular Party claims to be ensured that the work had been carried out in a mere extension of the branch. "

This is what emerges from the answers given by the National Government to the questions raised in the Congress of Deputies by the national deputy mayor, Pilar Barreiro.

Barreiro asked who and why he had deleted the splitting of the CT-32 and the Government acknowledges in its written response that no one took that decision "because that branch does not appear in the order of study of the project or the construction project itself" .

"These data demonstrate that the repeated request by the City of Cartagena and the Regional Assembly on various motions was not taken into consideration and that the Ministry of Public Works did not tell the truth when Magdalena Alvarez said the Mayor of Cartagena in 2007 that this work is had commissioned, "said spokesman Joaquin Segado popular.

Mowing asks "how much discomfort, how long and how much public money would have saved the citizens if the Ministry had done since the first time it requested Cartagena."

The spokesman reminded people that if the ministry's role in this matter has been unfortunate, the PSOE of Cartagena has fallen into the pathetic.

"They will have to remember that the candidate Cartagena PSOE justified the Ministry and refused to vote for the split. Now would have us believe that this is a second phase of the same work and that is thanks to their efforts."

As you may recall, this request has led to initiatives in the City Council and the Regional Assembly.

The mayor requested by writing to Magdalena Alvarez in 2007 and since his Cabinet replied that he had commissioned the project, but the work awarded in 2009 did not include the split.

The government delegation then announced that work would end with jams.

Last summer there were repeated delays.
