Segado denies that there are plundering the archaeological remains on the hill of windlass (22/02/2011)

The Municipal spokesperson PP, Joaquin Mowing, stressed that "it seems incredible that the opposition political groups keep trying to do politics in the courts" in the Municipal Council has been made this morning in the city of Cartagena.

Mowing has denied the charge of plunder in archaeological remains of the windlass, to the motion filed by Citizens Movement which sought the protection of this archaeological site, and stressed its confidence in the archaeologists, engineers and architects working with absolute rigor This project, directed and supervised by the Directorate General of Culture.

For Mowing, Movimiento Ciudadano this motion demonstrates not only their ignorance and total lack of work being carried out on the hill of the windlass, but "something that had not seen before in this group: evil, deceit and deception."

The spokesman recalled that during the 16-year mandate of the Popular Party, the opposition politicians have not got any convictions, not a single prosecution to any member of this government and stated "I hope that, once, justice act against those who accuse people of something illegal, knowing that is a lie. It does have a name and is referred to in the Penal Code. "

Regarding the adoption of the specifications for the sale of plots in the windlass, Joaquín Segado noted that "what has been proposed municipal government is to sell more plots, whose management was adopted in this plenary unanimously the November 7, 2005, by a vote in favor of Citizens Movement.

The aim is to bring life to the windlass Cartagena, to become one of the main archaeological sites and tourist city of Cartagena.
