Professor Miguel Centellas Soler has been appointed as director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

Sparks, replacing José Calvo, an associate professor since 2009 and yesterday was sworn in as Assistant Professor.

The new director, who is 54, is Senior Architect in 1980 and Ph.D. in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia since 2006.

He has directed several prestigious publications such as Documents of Architecture.

Miguel Centellas prinicipal will aim to continue the consolidation of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, school of more recent creation of the UPCT and this course meets the third year of operation.
