The City Council renewed the contract for cleaning machinery and colleges (20/10/2010)

The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, accompanied by the councilors of Greater Education, and Josefa Montero Rosario Maroto, and the head of FCC Local Jose Alcolea, presented today at the Plaza Héroes de Cavite the new supply of machinery and teams for the cleaning of schools, acquired under the new contract awarded to the company Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas-Environment.

The contract, with a duration of 4 years and a budget of 14 million euros ($ 3.7 million per year), includes the cleaning of 64 schools and Primary, one more than the previous year and that this sum the new College of the Rambla.

Moreover, some of these schools have expanded their classrooms, which will also extend the cleaning service them.

Albaladejo has emphasized the point that what we presented today are the substantial improvements that the City Council, through the FCC, will be introduced in the maintenance of cleanliness in schools, resulting in personnel and in the use of machinery more technologically advanced.
