More than 5,000 participants in the bike festival X (18/10/2010)

The X-Bike Festival Cartagena on Sunday became an unprecedented success, with over 5,000 participants this year became the biggest of those held to date.

The test, organized by the Department of Sports and Infrastructure of the City of Cartagena and the collective-ahead, was also sponsored by Decathlon collaboration Cartagena Local Police, Civil Protection and Sports Medicine department of the City.

The tour, starting and finishing at the Town Hall Square, including several downtown streets and, although initially was 10 kilometers, given the large number of participants, the march was to spread about 3 kilometers, requiring more than half hour to complete his departure.

Among the participants was the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gomez, Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and the Socialist group and à Rives Charity Angel Rafael Martínez, in addition to the Cartagena Decathlon director, David Andrew.

PRIZES AND DRAWINGS

Prizes Available Via older participants were to Lorenzo Mellado Cazorla (83 years) and Antonio Perez (66 years).

Decathlon award to more participatory CEIP was for college Quarry Fernando Garrido.

Decathlon award to more participatory IES was to El Bohio.

Decathlon prize for originality went to Antonio Bernal Sánchez.

As for the drawing of bicycles were awarded: Carmen Mora Aznar (2413), Juan M. Martínez Cutillas (3278), Magdalena García Carrasco (1645), Laura Huertas (206), Francisco aground Alcantud (2300), Rosa M ª López (2442) , Maria Luisa Flores (715), Immaculate Álvaro Conesa (2521) and Isabel Martinez Rua (2394).
