The Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, today opened the 'Trade Show and Crafts of Cartagena', part of the action lines developed by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, to promote and stimulate regional crafts trade in urban centers.
In total, 20 potters, nativity scenes, cheese makers, glass makers, beekeepers, metalisteros, makers of natural cosmetics, among other trades to provide the public with their latest creations.
The exhibition can be visited today and tomorrow at the Plaza Juan XXIII, from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 21:00, is organized by the Association of Artisans of the Region of Murcia (CREA), with collaboration of the Ministry, through the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts, the city of Cartagena and the Chamber of Commerce of the town.
This initiative is part of the measures included in the Plan to Promote Trade, organized by the regional government to revitalize urban centers, and thus affect the economics of retail and hospitality of the city of Cartagena , being an event that raises the attraction of many visitors to the site in full bridge pillar.
The Director General of Trade and Crafts emphasized that these samples "serve the one hand, to promote and publicize the artisan tradition of the region, enhancing your business and can thus increase their competitiveness, enabling them to know the tastes of the market and access to a mass audience. "
The Association of Artisans of the Region of Murcia (CREA) many activities involving, in addition to its partners, local artisans and the rest of the region, as in this sample in which 20 contestants, 11 they do not belong to the Association.
