The Municipal Corporation of Cartagena has expressed sympathy and grief for the death of former councilmen Prisons Antonio Nieto, who has been found dead this morning at his home in Cabo de Palos.
Prisons Antonio Nieto, born in Cartagena in 1953, was spokesman for the Municipal People's Party in the legislature in 1983 and 1987, under the mandates of mayors, Juan Martínez Simón and Antonio Vallejo, and president of the group between 1991 and 1995, which was mayor, José Antonio Alonso.
In his political career also highlight the positions of deputy in the Cortes Generales between 1986 and 1989, and 1996 and 2000, and the Senator for the Region of Murcia between 1991 and 1996.
Until recently he was Dean of the College of Procurators of Cartagena.
