Two local police officers had to be treated for injuries caused by an individual who managed to reduce and stop after trying to steal two bottles of alcohol in the street Mercadona San Juan, on Thursday.
Apparently the man, who was undocumented, was very aggressive, trying to attack the facility staff who tried to prevent his escape and then managed to beat the two agents, who came to the scene for his arrest.
While these got handcuffed and put it in the patrol car, the detainee away from work, he entered the police vehicle hitting his head against the glass partition and fracturing the back door kicked.
Seeing that did not stop self-injury, required the 061 police who injected a tranquilizer and determined its transfer to the Hospital del Rosell, where he remained for the direct monitoring by medical personnel before being transferred to the police station, where officers had to arrest and medical reports issued.
