Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez, and the national team futvoley, Michelangelo Hernandez, presented this morning the city of Cartagena Open XI of this sport, which returns a year to La Manga del Mar Menor, from 6 to August 8.
Gómez Alonso was pleased to be able to collaborate in this tournament, despite the running times of crisis because it is important to continue to sporting events in the city.
The Open City of Cartagena, which is within the circuit XVIII Futvoley 2010, will have only a share of national character.
To promote this sport and prior to the tournament, the City of Cartagena and the Spanish Association of Futvoley made yesterday for free, introductory and advanced courses in technical, for players and tourists have a better understanding of the technical and sport.
The championship will consist of three phases: the 12 participating couples, fall 6 to be divided into two groups, which will advance to the final stage.
On Sunday they host the final of the circuit and the awards ceremony.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE IN LA MANGA
The Open City Cartagena X has the following schedule:
- Friday August 6: 16 to 20 hours, is competing for the qualifying matches.
- Saturday August 7: 16 to 20 hours, played games in the Final Phase.
- Sunday 8 August: 16 to 20 hours, the two semifinals will be played, the 3rd and 4th place, the final and closing ceremony will be the Awards Ceremony.
