Saura complaint cuts and breaches of the Government of Valcárcel infrastructure in Cartagena (28/07/2010)

PSRM general secretary, Pedro Saura, who traveled to the area of Siphon Road, accompanied by the secretary general of the PSOE in Cartagena, Antonio Martínez Bernal, the regional deputy, Teresa Rosique and Municipal Socialist Party spokesman, Carl Rives , said that the Socialist Party wants to tell the truth to people about what is going to fall and defaults on investment of public works by the regional government.

The refusal of the regional government to provide explanations on the Regional Assembly to the loud and unstoppable decline of public investment in the region, the secretary general of the Socialist Murcia wanted to transfer that information to the society to know the truth of what is going to investments that depend on regional government.

"While the Government of Spain has the face to citizens, government Valcárcel and milongas are dedicated to telling about his cuts in public investment."

Saura charged that the government has punished Valcárcel Cartagena productive investments in 2010, with a cut of 12 million euros compared to 2009, while highlighted the undue delay in the implementation of much needed infrastructure and demanded citizens of Cartagena.

He recalled that meet this cut, President Zapatero has given the city of Cartagena EUR 24 million E Plan for 2010, adding to the 36 million euros this municipality received by the first phase of Plan E last year .

Saura considers that the regional government must fulfill its commitments to Cartagena in infrastructure, cutting wasteful government exercising the Valcárcel and transforming it into productive investment that creates jobs and economic activity.

Among the major infrastructure that the regional government is pending in Cartagena are the roundabouts Beaza Cabezo, Siphon road and roundabouts of La Manga.

Socialist leader lamented that the regional government is unwilling to explain the whole truth about the cuts in infrastructure in Cartagena in the Regional Assembly, as he has sued the PSOE.
