Polytechnic shows its teaching method in a day open to all citizens (12/04/2018)

The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) opens its doors on Saturday, April 21st for families and future university students to learn about the University, the studies taught in it and the projects developed by university students during their time in the UPCT.

The day will begin at 10:00 with a brief act of welcome at the Paraninfo of the Muralla del Mar Campus, located on the first floor of the Industrial School.

In the courtyard of the center there will be a sample of student associations, competition teams and services of the UPCT.

The stands can be visited throughout the morning.

At 10:45 the tour will start at the general facilities: CRAI Library and ELDI Laboratory Building.

You can also visit the Alberto Colao university residence.

The assistants will be able to know the center chosen from 12:00.

As a novelty, this year, pre-university students and their relatives can extend the open day with a tour, take a tour on the tourist boat through the bay of Cartagena and see the Roman Theater.

The UPCT, like last year, will put free bus in those locations where there is a minimum of 15 visitors, those interested may request a bus facilitated by the UPCT.

The Polytechnic University of Cartagena imparts 15 degrees that are distributed among the Superior Technical Schools of Architecture and Engineering of the Building, Agronomic Engineering, Engineering of Roads, Channels and Ports and Mining Engineering, Naval and Oceanic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineering and the School of Business Sciences.
