UCAM Cartagena hosts tomorrow a talk on patient care with burns and postmastectomy breast reconstruction (11/04/2018)

The plastic surgeon Ramón Andrés Moreno will teach tomorrow afternoon at the Campus of Los Dolores these two conferences open to the general population and framed in the First Meetings of Patient Support of the Faculty of Nursing of the Catholic University in the port city.

A sample of photographs of patients with burns and their evolution throughout the cures will be the basis of the explanation that the plastic surgeon Ramón Andrés Moreno Villalba explains on Thursday at 18:00 hours the general characteristics burns, their classification and the handling of them in the framework of the I Meetings of Patient Support organized by the Faculty of Nursing of the UCAM in its campus in the Cartagena neighborhood of Los Dolores.

In addition, this event will have a second part in which attendees will know of the hand of this renowned doctor of the Murcian Society of Plastic Surgery, a subject as current and frequent in women as the "Reconstructive and Aesthetic Postmastectomy Breast Reconstruction", while there is a great loss of body image in patients with breast cancer.

a photographic exhibition of the work that this professional performs at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital.

These activities are aimed at students of the Degree in Nursing as well as professionals in the sector and the population in general, are free and open access, with the possibility of receiving a certificate of attendance in the case of attending, at least, 50% of the scheduled meetings.
