The Palace Hall hosts the closing of two mixed courses of employment and training in Cartagena (21/03/2018)

The Ceremonial Hall of the Palace of the City of Cartagena has hosted today March 21 the closure of two mixed courses of employment and training that began on March 27, 2017 and included within the measures to support the creation of employment for the unemployed .

The Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) launched specialized training in Care for Dependency in Social Institutions (ADIS) in the modalities of socio-health care for dependent persons, promotion and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities and auxiliary operations of gardening, Nurseries and Garden Centers, and the Tres Tenedores course, aimed at young people enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System.

The organization of the program has given importance to the completion of training in social spaces, so that work practices have been carried out by the student workers of the PMEF AIDIS in the IMAS Center in La Vaguada and the student-workers of the PMEF Tres Tenedores, in the Social Dining Room of Cáritas.

The mayoress of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, attended the closing ceremony;

accompanied by the manager of the ADLE, Manuel Mora;

and the general director of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora.

The mayor has indicated that these courses have benefited a total of 80 people, "to whom from now on we will help them in what we can of the ADLE and we will invite them to trust in themselves".

Also, the councilor has qualified that so much has been the visibility of these courses, that citizens are asking if there will be new courses in the ADLE.

For this reason, Castejón pointed out, yesterday the budget for the new courses of the SEF was approved in the Governing Board.

For his part, Manuel Mora noted that yesterday in the Governing Board approved "a generation of credit of the 2017 grant of SEF courses in its different modalities", as a youth guarantee, unemployed over 45 years, unemployed long duration, etc.

The credit for the courses, which some of them have started and others will begin throughout 2018, has been 227,000 euros, and cover various topics such as administrative management, plumbing, networking, bartender basic, cooking, leisure activities dynamization and free time, etc.

The director of the SEF has indicated that the qualified people in the two programs that have been closed today, March 21, will obtain a certificate of professionalism and have developed a paid job with which they have been able to gain experience.

He also explained that for this project has been allocated more than one million euros and that there are municipalities such as Murcia, Lorca, Cartagena or Molina de Segura due to its size, the number of population or the number of programs is necessary vertebrar this type of programs.
