The Sala Levante of the Faculty of Business Sciences (former CIM), hosts since Friday March 2 two photographic exhibitions on the occasion of the Women's Week, which were opened by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the councilor of Culture, Education and Youth, David Martínez Noguera.
The first one is the sample called Fotógrafas de Cartagena, which with a free theme is composed of 28 photographs of members of the Click association.
In this selection you can find all kinds of disciplines within photography, from portrait, landscape, urban photography, nature and even photographs with lightpainting techniques.
A true demonstration of the talent and photographic eye of the photographers of our city.
The second, Labor equality in the 21st century is composed of nine photographs taken by the members of the association Click, María del Mar García and María Dolores Zaplana, and taken by women with jobs traditionally performed by men.
In these snapshots the authors have been able to reflect the daily life of women who dared to break the barriers of the established, capturing their struggle, effort and improvement through the lens of their objectives.
