The Young Lawyer of the Region of Murcia met in Cartagena (26/02/2018)

About 200 people gathered at the inauguration of the First Congress of Young Advocacy of the Region of Murcia, which dealt with the fundamental aspects of family law and analysis of its criminal and civil aspects.

The meeting took place on Friday, February 23, in the Isaac Peral auditorium of the Faculty of Business Sciences at the former CIM.

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the Delegate of the Government in Murcia, Francisco Bernabé, and the Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo, participated together with other authorities in the inaugural act, being the Mayor the one in charge of giving the welcome to the city

The congress, which was held until Sunday, February 25, was organized by the Federation of Young Lawyers of the Region of Murcia, and had close collaboration with the Cartagena Congress Office.

The congress was focused on young lawyers, law students, master students, lawyers dedicated to family law and interested in the subject, and there will also be a practical workshop on the most specific issues of family law.

Among the topics dealt with, the congress contemplated issues of gender violence, child abduction, surrogate pregnancy, liquidation of property and shared custody.

Among the speakers highlighted lawyers, lawyers and prosecutors of the Region of Murcia, specialists in the various subjects, as well as the president of the Provincial Court of Murcia, Miguel Angel Larrosa.
