The future actions in the industrial area of ​​Los Camachos, the paralyzed actions and the upcoming projects have been the main topics discussed at a meeting on Monday, February 19.
The meeting took place between the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the president of the Employers Association of Los Camachos Industrial Park, Antonio Betancor and the president of the Conservation Organization of Los Camachos Industrial Park, Carmen Barriendo, among others managers of the area.
The objective of the Government team is to promote the development of this industrial estate and that is what Ana Belén Castejón has told us.
The businessmen have exposed to the mayor a series of issues that have been paralyzed and which will seek solutions, such as the installation of its headquarters in the old Contentpolis ship or the signage of the area.
Also, the mayor has made special emphasis on the important economic boost that will mean that the Logistics Activities Zone of Cartagena (ZAL), is installed in this industrial estate.
Ana Belén Castejón also recalled that Los Camachos has been forgotten for many years and therefore it is a priority to take action at different levels and from different administrations to make competitiveness and innovation the hallmark of this polygon.
