The Parisian designs of Women Land arrive in Cartagena (13/02/2018)

Women Land has opened its doors in Cartagena.

Its owner, Carmen Martínez, always linked to the world of fashion, has decided to start her own clothing, purses and accessories store after working for several years as a journalist on specialized websites with work in the store.

Carmen Martínez raised the blind of her business only three months ago, a project that she has been able to implement with the collaboration of the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE) of the City of Cartagena.

The ADLE, within its support program for entrepreneurs, provided Martínez with the information and tools necessary to fine-tune his idea.

"I looked for information and advised me a lot.

In the ADLE they informed me about the different aids and subsidies that there are, and that in the long run is very positive because it motivates you to continue ", Martínez explained.

The 29-year-old entrepreneur explained that she chose Women Land because she "adapted very well to the business model she had in mind".

"I did not want to open any shop," said Martínez, who said that she finally decided on Women Land because of the provenance of her Parisian designs and the exclusivity of her clothes, since there is only one unit per size.

The clothes that the clients can find in Women Land is not only for daily, but also there are clothes for ceremonies, like for example, communions.

"The fact that there is only one unit per size offers clients the assurance that they will not repeat, nor will they find anything similar in their events."

According to its owner, Women Land has had a very good reception in Cartagena.

"We inaugurated last November, we have been caught in the middle of the Christmas campaign and that is very positive for people to get to know the firm more and more," he said.

Martinez has acknowledged that undertaking is risky and something to think and reflect a lot, however, "if you have a very personal project, which you have been thinking and analyzing for a long time, you have to take the step and take the risk, because if not You do, you will always be left with the thorn of what could have happened, "he concluded.
