The streets of Cartagena will host next Saturday, February 10, the great Carnival parade at 6 pm.
The route will start at the Alameda de San Antón, following the Plaza de España towards Paseo Alfonso XIII, Juan Fernandez, Juan XIII, Santa Florentina, Carmen, Tolosa, Latour, Sagasta, Puerta de Murcia, Mayor and, finally, Plaza del Town hall.
Regarding the general parade next Saturday afternoon, from Local Police it is remembered that the parking of vehicles will be prohibited from 2:00 pm on the streets affected by the route of the parade.
In addition, from 4:00 pm the traffic will be cut off in all the streets through which the parade runs, with the exception of the Alameda de San Antón (Pza de España Address from Plaza Maria Cristina) which will be cut from 3:00 p.m. , because the different floats will be installed.
Also, agents have reported that from 17:00 the traffic will be cut from Angel Bruna to Paseo Alfonso XIII and Plaza de España in both directions.
The police have recommended the use of public parking and public transport in case of moving to the center, as well as the possibility of parking in the Mandarache, Eroski or University Parking.
On the other hand, they have reminded the owners of garages and garages, who are affected by the itinerary, if they intend to make any type of movement, that they foresee before making the traffic cut.
