Ten young people from Garantia Juvenil will work and learn English abroad (09/02/2018)

The Local Government Board, meeting under the presidency of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has approved the proposal of the Councilor for Education Culture and Youth, David Martínez, for the implementation of a pilot initiative called EXPEURA that will allow young people from the System of Youth Guarantee have a work experience and improve their English in countries of English-speaking Europeans.

As explained by the councilman is a mobility program co-financed by the European Social Fund to which 16,335 euros will be allocated;

and ten young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System can benefit from it.

The sector that will make the job offers will be the hotelier, in positions according to their level of studies, level of English and their professional experience.

The participants will work between 30-40 hours per week and will have two free days a week.

Accommodation and maintenance will be carried out at the hotel.

Your monthly salary will range between 1,200 and 1,500 pounds, of which 20-60 pounds will be deducted for lodging and full board.

The minimum mandatory duration of the program will be 3 months of stay abroad.

The call and selection process will be opened shortly through the procedures section of the Youth Council on the municipal website.
