More than 350 cyclists will participate in the II BMX Race 100% All Sport of La Aljorra (08/02/2018)

The II BMX 100% All Sport Race of La Aljorra will be played on Saturday February 11 in the town of Cartagena and will have more than 350 participants.

The event was presented by the Councilor for Sports, Obdulia Gómez, together with the presidents of the 100% All Sport Club, Marcelino Barrero;

and of the Festival Commission of La Aljorra, Alfonso Martínez, as representatives of the two organizing entities.

Both presidents took the opportunity to thank the support of the City of Cartagena and its Department of Sports.

The start of this race will take place at 9:30 am at the Aljorra fairgrounds.

The route, according to Obdulia Gómez explained, will be about 40 kilometers with a difference of 600 meters.

During the journey, cyclists will find forest roads, livestock and even a section that must travel on foot.

The Aljorra is an ideal enclave to carry out this type of mountain activities due to the orographic characteristics of its landscape, according to the councilor.

This test is part of the Faster Wear BMX Cup that takes place at a regional level.

The day 11 will be the first of the nine races that will be in different parts of the Region.

1st FASTER BMX MINI CUP

In addition to this second BMX 100% All Sport mountain bike event, the BMX Mini Faster Cup for children between 6 and 14 years old will be held for the first time.

In the children's race, young riders from the Prebenjamín, Benjamín and Alevín Infantil categories will participate.

Registration for these two races can be done through the cronomur.es website.
