The Local Police informs of traffic cuts this Thursday on the occasion of a rally in front of the Regional Assembly (31/01/2018)

The Local Police of Cartagena has reported that this Thursday, February 1 there will be traffic cuts in the Paseo Alfonso XIII from early morning, on the occasion of the authorized rally that will lead representatives of the agricultural sector in front of the Regional Assembly.

Apparently, the demonstrators are scheduled to remain at the gates of the parliamentary headquarters throughout the morning to protest the new rules that seek to protect the Mar Menor.

Due to this circumstance it will be forbidden to park from 8:00 am on the Paseo de Alfonso XIII in the section between the junction of Juan de la Cosa and Capitanes Ripoll.

In addition, the traffic between these sections will be cut from the beginning of the concentration, at 9:30 am.

For this reason, it is recommended to adopt alternative itineraries to the Paseo Alfonso XIII for possible detours and traffic cuts.

Likewise, it should be borne in mind that the roads near this promenade will be more overloaded, such as Avenida Reina Victoria.

In addition, it is recommended that the entrances and exits to the city be realized by the avenue Víctor Beltrí, the place Doors of San José or by the zone of the Port (Crane Sanson).

The Local Police request the maximum attention to the circulation and the indications of the agents, as well as the monitoring and evolution of the concentrations in the Local Police Social Networks.
