Lawyers and jurists debate on the Mediterranean Corridor in Cartagena (29/01/2018)

The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, presided last Friday, January 26, the III Conference of Councils and Bar Associations of the Mediterranean.

This meeting took place from five in the afternoon and was held in the Isaac Peral room of the Faculty of Business Sciences, at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).

This day was full of figures representing the legal profession as José Muelas Cerezuela, dean of the Cartagena Bar Association;

and Victoria Ortega Benito, president of the General Council of Spanish Lawyers, who were in charge of welcoming and presenting the event.

In this meeting, it was debated, mainly, about the relevance of the Mediterranean Corridor.

The mayor, on the other hand, exposed the importance that this infrastructure has for the development of the municipality.

Castejón took the opportunity to remember that, if the Autonomous Community and the Ministry of Development do not keep their promises and the machines do not start working soon, will take the necessary measures for Cartagena to be taken into account.

Also present were Ángel García Aragón, dean of the Lorca Bar Association;

and José Pascual Pozo Gómez, dean of Almería and president of the Andalusian Council of Bar Associations.
