The funniest percussion won in the final of the Pasodobles Villa de Pozo Estrecho International Musical Composition Contest (29/01/2018)

Fernando Lizara with 'The funniest percussion' was imposed, this Saturday, January 27, in the final of the XXVI edition of the International Musical Composition Contest of Pasodobles Villa de Pozo Estrecho.

The contest has the collaboration of the city of Cartagena, and he was attended by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, the councilor of the area of ​​Culture, Education and Youth, David Martinez and the councilors of the municipal corporation, Manuel Padín and Francisco José Calderón.

The mayor praised, "the magnificent work of the neighborhood association of Pozo Estrecho that with this contest keeps alive a musical tradition that we can not lose".

The Pozo Estrecho Civic Center hosted the event where the Santa Cecilia Musical Artistic Society was in charge of interpreting the finalist pasodobles: Lionel Beltrán with the pasodoble 'Ohana', Fernando Lizara with 'The funniest percussion' and Miguel Ángel Sarrió with 'Amistad '

Once finalized, the prizes were awarded to the winners.

The first prize was a diploma and 2,000 euros, while the second and third received a diploma and a trophy.

This year, composers from Finland, Portugal, France, Italy and Belgium have participated.
