The orange training spokesman has asked the mayor of Cartagena to try to clarify in the Lhicarsa Board of Directors all the shadows that have appeared in the report and that the Hiring Observatory be established as soon as possible to deal with this matter, agreement promoted by CTSSP in the Plenary of December and that was supported by the Group Citizens, and the rest of formations except the Popular Party that voted against.

As for the Lhicarsa Council, Citizens recalled that the opposition groups have no representation, "but we are going to ask that you invite us to the meeting on February 5, we want to be present at a meeting of special importance for the present development and the future of the second largest municipal contract, "said Manuel Padín who also reported that today he is going to ask the City Council to send him the aforementioned report by the Infrastructure technicians."

"If we can not be in the Council, we will demand the convocation of an Extraordinary Spokesperson Board after the meeting so that the mayor informs everyone of what is happening and the measures that will be taken with the cleaning service" , has proposed the spokesman of Cs Cartagena.

Manuel Padín also noted that "we know that the contract with FCC is obsolete and that the current demands of the municipality are not met by the increase in the areas in which the company operates, among other reasons, and this is a situation that must be corrected as soon as possible".

"What we have very clear in Citizens is that the cleaning service of a city is key, first for the residents, but also for the thousands of visitors and tourists that we receive every year, and it is evident that they are not doing things right, and that the service does not cover the needs we have and we have to update and reorient the contract with the company, but it is equally clear that FCC must scrupulously fulfill its obligations and it is up to us to monitor every last bit of its management ", Padín warned. believes that both "positions are and must be compatible".

Possible fractionation of contracts

On the occasion of the information on the complaint in the Office of the Prosecutor for alleged subdivisions of minor contracts to avoid the negotiated procedure published today by the newspaper La Opinion, the spokesman of Cs Cartagena, Manuel Padín, has not been able to position himself "we have not had access to the content of the complaint, we do not even know if it has been admitted and we prefer to be prudent and trust from now on the work of justice, but this information has reaffirmed us in the idea that the City must have a system that can monitor the Minor contracts that are made so that we can detect these irregular practices before they are carried out. "

The Cs spokesman recalled that the Law on Contracts of the Public Sector is about to enter into force, which, among other measures, will include the requirement of motivated reports for all minor contracts and professionalize the hiring tables, "the City Council has to catch up now to comply with the new regulations.
