The Local Police of Cartagena has incorporated new means of self-protection and materials for the body, worth around 100,000 euros, which were approved last year at the recruitment desk, and among which we found new helmets for agents with Bluetooth intercoms, new reflective vests and anti-cut panties.
The presentation was attended by the Deputy Chief Inspector of the Local Police of Cartagena, Eusebio Serna;
and the Councilor for Security, Francisco Aznar, who has highlighted the importance of this material for the body and added that the police are providing themselves with better materials, "updating them of all the innovations that exist in the market".
Among the means of self-protection and materials that have been incorporated, we found 33 units of Schubert C3 Pro motorcycle helmets with their bluetooth intercoms;
120 transmitters new technology Tetra Motorola;
380 reflective vests bicolor;
100 bi-elastic pants;
27 biker pants with protections;
250 Anti-hair Bluff pant;
46 biker gloves;
30 protections of coat, 20 vouchers of clothes of civilian;
80 rigid belts with Velcro and 240 rigid polymer carriers.
They have also integrated 140 police portfolios;
80 plates;
30 plate holders;
240 units of OC spray;
240 covers for civilian anti-theft gun;
20 flashlight cases;
10 razor covers;
20 leather keyholes;
280 thermal poles;
and 36 bulletproof vests, which together with the renewal of police vehicles that took place in 2016, contributes to improving the safety of agents and citizens.
