The Association of Neighbors of Isla Plana and the Neighborhood Board of Perín have organized for next Sunday, December 17, a day in honor of the Virgen de la Luz and that has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
The activities will begin at 11:00 with children's games, inflatables and chocolate with buns for the little ones.
Already at 1:00 pm there will be a Solemn Eucharist accompanied by gangs of Isla Plana and Tallante.
The festive day will continue at 2:00 p.m. with a solidary lunch in which you will be able to taste typical products of the land.
After lunch there will be a homemade dessert contest.
Participants will be eligible for three prizes: the first one will win a Christmas basket, the second a weekend menu for two people and the third one will win a chicken.
The afternoon will continue with the draw of a lamb donated by 'Pepe el de Encarna'.
To end this Sunday, in honor of the Virgen de la Luz, at 16:00 hours will begin the dance of the innocents and the awards ceremony.
