Engineers, journalists, citizens and technicians of Renfe discuss next week at Industriales on the rail system (07/12/2017)

The Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) of the Polytechnic of Cartagena hosts on December 11, 12 and 13 the 1st Technical Transport Conference, dedicated to the rail system of the Region of Murcia and in which experts and affected by the road infrastructures.

'The objective is to have a forum of academic and professional nature to analyze, respectively, the rail network of commuter and medium distance, the transport of goods by rail and the arrival of high speed to our region', explains Patricio Franco, director of the School of Industrialists of the UPCT.

'Rail transport is a subject of great interest to students of different degrees in the field of industrial engineering, and in fact corresponds to subjects that attend during their university studies,' he adds.

The professor of transport engineering at the Industrial School, José Andrés Moreno, the technicians of Renfe Antonio del Campo and Francisco Gómez Ribera, the deputy secretary general of Ferrmed ​​(Mediterranean Corridor promotion association), Francisco García Calvo, the head of Exploitation of the Port Authority of Cartagena, José María Gómez Fuster, the founder of the Association Zaragozana de Amigos del Ferrocarril, Luis Lezaún, the member of the Pro-Burial Platform of Murcia Domingo Centenero, the Architecture Professor Enrique de Andrés and the journalists Rosa Roda, Ángel Montiel and Manuel Buitrago will participate in the conference.
