More than 140 technically feasible and prioritized projects will be able to vote as of Friday in the participatory budgets of 2018 (29/11/2017)

This Wednesday the Committee to Monitor Participatory Budgets met, chaired by the Councilor for Participation and Good Government, Juan Pedro Torralba, with the aim of informing the representatives of the municipal groups and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Cartagena and Comarca (FAVCAC) of the state of execution of the Participatory Budgets of 2017.

During the meeting, the more than 140 technically viable and prioritized projects that will be finally voted by the neighbors have been finalized, as well as the 45 municipal locations where they can do it face-to-face, in the morning, afternoon and even on holidays, between December 1 and 19;

in addition to online, through the citizen's folder or through the use of the digital certificate or electronic ID.

Citizens can choose up to three proposals from any of the districts in which the municipal area is divided.

Both the relationship of the projects and the places and times of voting, will be published tomorrow on the municipal website.

Juan Pedro Torralba explained that possible doubts of the entities involved in the Commission have been resolved with respect to works that have been left out because they are the responsibility of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia or private properties, as well as for other similar reasons.

There have also been some discussions in which there could be some doubt or still have the possibility of entering the list.

As explained by the mayor of Participation and Good Government, the information that has been provided to the municipal groups and the FAVCAC included a breakdown of those actions that would pass the filter to go to the vote and that will now be printed. Friday can be in all the OMITAS and offices for citizens to vote.

Torralba has highlighted in this aspect the fulfillment of the "commitment" adopted by the municipal government with the opposition groups and with the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Cartagena and Comarca.
