This Saturday, November 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Green Volunteering activity will take place in Cartagena, in the area of ​​Mar de Cristal - Punta Las Lomas, (the meeting point is the Mar de Chiringuito de Crystal).
This activity is organized by Cicloplast, which represents the environmental commitment of the plastics companies and has obtained the collaboration of two hundred volunteers from this sector, who will participate in the activity.
The activity has the support of the Government of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Decentralization of the City of Cartagena.
The Green Volunteering of Cicloplast, carried out in the framework of the 'European Week of Prevention', an initiative of the European Commission, will contain environmental training workshops for adults and children and a route and cleaning by the natural environment with data collection (citizen science ), as a means of environmental awareness for the prevention of the abandonment of waste in inappropriate places (litter).
The waste will be collected separately for later recycling.
Cicloplast has the participation of more than 200 volunteers from the companies of the Region: Poliex Group, Plásticos Romero and Sabic, members of Cicloplast, in addition to the collaboration of business and environmental entities such as Asemuplast, European Environment, Murcia Clean Region and Red Cross .
