Cartagena will celebrate the International Day for the Rights of Children with a march (17/11/2017)

On Monday, November 20, the International Day for the Rights of Children is celebrated.

With this motive, and framed within the celebrations programmed by the City council of Cartagena, through the councils of Social Services and Social Mediation and of Education, Cartagena will live the great day of this ephemeris with the Third March 'Walk for your Rights' and several complementary activities.

The day will begin at 11:00 am with the concentration at the beginning of Calle del Carmen, at the height of the taxi stand of the Plaza de España, from where the itinerary will start to end at the esplanade of the Port.

The delegated councilor of Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, the delegated councilor of Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martín del Amor, and the delegated councilor of Education and Equality, David Martínez, will accompany this march with monitors that will invigorate the activities throughout the day .

Once the tour ends, on the esplanade of the Port, there will be the 'Construction of the Garden of Rights', which will be followed by some words that will be dedicated by the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, at 12:00 noon, where will be the Councilor for Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón, as well as the councilors participating in the march, and the reading of a manifesto for the rights of children at 12:30.

The day will conclude with an animation prepared by the IES Mediterranean and a flashmob organized by IES Los Molinos.
