Transparency approaches the schools of Cartagena (15/11/2017)

The councilor of the area of ​​Sustainable Development and Transparency, María José Soler, visited yesterday, Tuesday, November 14, the Mastia and Patronato del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús colleges to give continuity to the initiatives of her area of ​​competence that are allowing the little ones to Become familiar with the values ​​of transparency.

During her stay, the councilor invited the students to participate in the second edition of the 'Cartagena Ciudad Transparente' contest.

The contest is aimed at primary school children in order to work, from an early age, with the values ​​intrinsic to the concept of transparency.

Soler encouraged young people to present their work on Transparency.

To do this, they must draw a picture, accompanied by a sentence that, in an original way, expresses what transparency means to them in the life of citizens.

The format of the drawing is free and the phrase must contain a maximum of 40 words.

It should be remembered that the deadline for submitting the papers ends on November 30.

The mayor thanked teachers and children for their receptivity and predisposition, highlighting the outstanding work done in "two living schools and wanting to take on and adapt to the changes required by a new social context."

'THE VALUE OF TRANSPARENCY'

The head of Transparency of the local government took the opportunity to distribute to students and teachers the book 'The value of transparency', edited by its Council.

Through two stories, it transmits the values ​​attached to the concept of transparency in an entertaining and didactic way, in a language adapted to children.

'The value of transparency' raises two stories to work in the classroom values ​​of this concept.

Through a task, the child will internalize the content.

From the municipal website you can access the children's stories, also translated into English, as well as the guide for teachers, composed of a set of activities.
