About 13,000 Cartagena fans enjoyed the goals of the U21 against Slovakia (15/11/2017)

It was not a concert, but in the new lawn of the Cartagonova there was a symphony.

Just as in the most dream-like nights, in which music and dreams mingle, people ended up lighting the flashlights of their mobile phones and shaking them like fireflies on dark nights to the tune of the melody that was set on the stage.

And dreams came true in the Coliseo Cartagena.

The port city was the center of sports attention throughout Spain and the party of the goal was lived as it had not been lived for years, with a parish overturned with its national team.

The 12,812 spectators who attended the stadium could witness the overwhelming victory of the Spanish Under-21 team over Slovakia 5-1 in which highlighted the brilliant second half of Albert Celades, who at the end of the meeting highlighted the fabulous welcome provided by the citizens of the municipality.

Among the public gathered was a broad institutional representation headed by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and among which were also the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, the Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, the Councilor for Quality of Life , Francisco Calderón, the delegated councilor of the Treasury, Isabel García, the councilor of the municipal government José López, the general director of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Alonso Gómez, the president of FC Cartagena, Francisco Belmonte, as well as Some mayors of the opposition groups of the Consistory as Francisco Espejo or Carolina Palazón.

The national team had to suffer during the first half of the match.

The Slovakian team declared their intentions from the start and just after the quarter hour of play and put the 'ay' in the hearts of Cartagena fans.

Cmelík hurried a start by the right flank until almost reaching the bottom line to throw a center to the area that Hromada let pass so that he received only Jirka and shot point blank, beating Unai Simón, but Vallejo prevented in extremis that the Slovakian team opened the scoring throwing on the goal line and clearing the leather.

It did not take the visiting block to hurt first.

Kácer threw a corner kick and Fabian put it in his own door trying to clear.

The Spanish U-21 team faced its worst minutes and was not able to find just enough holes to reach the rival area and create danger until the break began to approach.

In addition, the Celades were positionally overpowered by the Slovaks in the majority of attacking plays caused by the visiting team.

Spain had a very bad time since that first time in Jirka.

But there was Dani Ceballos to fix the mess at the end of a magnificent team play that started from the back;

finally the ball came to the Andalusian from the boots of Rodrigo to shoot a powerful satin missile and crossed from his position, in the front of the area, a little heeled in the right peak, which came bouncing on the opposite pole strain.

Thus, the two teams went to the locker room with different sensations.

The draw knew little for the visitors, while for the local team it was more than satisfactory considering the development of the first act.

The party came later.

The technical corrections applied by the coach during the break had the expected effect and upon returning from the booth there was a turn in the script.

After resuming the game, Borja Mayoral left it to Córdoba on the front so that the Bilbao player, just entered the new lawn of the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium, finished off a ball that entered the post, where the visiting keeper did not arrive.

Only two minutes later Dani Ceballos, the man of the match, signed the second goal of his personal account.

He cooked it and he ate it.

He came on the left flank, faced the Slovak defense and with an exceptional roulette was planted at the top of the area to shoot the long stick.

And the stand, which made the wave, began to enjoy the game of the national team.

Dani Ceballos, again, would be in charge of scoring the fourth.

He beat the Slovak goalkeeper, this time almost from the penalty spot, after only reaching the ball inside the visiting area.

With this the Andalusian sealed his first hat-trick with the zamarra of Spain and unleashed the 'olés' in the stands.

The closed ovation with which he was dismissed by the Cartagena public to the full standing certified his sublime performance.

Borja Mayoral rounded off the result when the match was almost over by transforming an assist to Lato's hole from the edge of the area for Córdoba, who faced the goal and put the pass of death to Madrid, which came from the right and only had to push it in, with what put the icing on the magnificent combination.

The Spanish Under-21 team liked, and very much, throughout this second half.

At the conclusion of the meeting was the feeling that there were five goals, but they could have been more against a Slovak National Team that deflated after the break and ended up broken before the local superiority of a team that promises great achievements in the European Championship in Italy 2019 of the category, championship for which computed the official clash of this Tuesday in the Cartagonova, which was part of the qualifying phase.
