Cartagena Piensa teaches this Wednesday two music and astronomy workshops for children (14/11/2017)

The Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the cultural program "Cartagena Piensa", continues with its extensive programming aimed at children.

This Wednesday, November 15, there will be two workshops for children that deal with the subjects of Music and Astronomy.


The "Astronomy Workshop" will take place at 6:00 pm at the Pozo Estrecho Municipal Library and is intended for children from 3 to 14 years old.

Organized by the Astronomical Association of Cartagena, the person in charge of this activity is Cristina Díaz.

Attendees can enjoy a walk on the Solar System.

We will talk about the sun and the moon and how they have influenced the creation of the earth and many other curiosities such as the planets, the big bang, etc.

Music: rhythm and musicality workshop for children

The importance of rhythm and musicality for children is the subject of the second workshop, which will be taught in the Doña Centenito library at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center at 6:30 p.m.

Álex Dumdaca will be in charge of this activity.

The Workshop of Hayat's Chocolate Factory will work on the introduction to percussion, the understanding of rhythm, group collaboration, psychomotor coordination and sound expression in which children, from 6 to 9 years old, will participate in a practical and fun session with different percussion instruments.
