Demarcation of the poetry to the inmates of the Penitentiary Center of Campos del Rio (10/11/2017)

The poetry festival Deslinde, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, wants to bring literature to the groups that have more difficulties to access it and for this has been programmed, in collaboration with the association Solidarity for Development (National Award of Promotion of the Reading 2017) the activity 'Poets to the jail', that will take place, next Saturday November 11, in the Penitentiary Center Campos del Río.

This is an initiative in which the interns will participate in a poetry microtaller, which will involve the poet Antonio Aguilar and the delegate of Solidarity for Development in the Region of Murcia, Maria Angeles Carnacea.

A morning where, in addition, there will be a poetic recital.

ANTONIO AGUILAR RODRÃGUEZ

Antonio Aguilar Rodríguez

Poet and cultural activist.

He has published the books 'El amor y los días' (University of Granada, 1998), 'The autumn incarnate of Ives de la Roca' (Murcia Regional Editor / Tres fronteras, 1998), 'Where I was not' (Rialp, 2004), and 'The night of the fire' (Huerga & Fierro, 2015).

He has also published the book 'Give me your hands' (Project crowdfunding, 2012) which consists of photos of Cesar Ceron accompanied by poems by Antonio Aguilar.

In this line of interdisciplinary work he exhibited at the T20 gallery in Murcia with Mario Rubio, underground gardens, an intervention in the streets of Murcia with a central point in the gallery itself, and he has collaborated in La radio moves with Jacinto Nicolás in Onda Regional .

He has been National Award for Educational Innovation and has participated in the exchange promoted by the City of Murcia for the Creajoven award winners with the city of Venice.

In addition, his work has been recognized with the Federico García Lorca Poetry Prizes of the University of Granada (1997), the Antonio Oliver Belmás International Poetry Prize (1997) which convenes the Popular University of Cartagena and the Adonis Award second prize in the edition of 2003.

He has appeared in a series of anthologies such as 'Yo es otro' (DVD) by Josep Maria Rodríguez, 'Periféricos' (Universidad Popular José Hierro) by Ignacio Elguero, in the number of the magazine 'Litoral' dedicated to the self-portrait or in the most recent 'From the sea to the steppe' (Chamán Ediciones) by Pedro Gascón that includes a selection of poets from Albacete, Murcia and Cartagena and in 'Composition of place' (La fea bourgeoisie) by Luis Bagué, among others.

He has been the regional writer invited in 2017 to the Mandarache Award in Cartagena.

MARÃA ÁNGELES CARNACEA

Bachelor of Political Science with a Master's Degree in Social Anthropology.

She has a Master in Intercultural Social Mediation and is a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology.

He has a wide professional experience close to situations related to social exclusion, among them the homeless and migrants.

Delegate in Murcia of "Solidarity" since February 2016, with the responsibility of managing and coordinating the volunteer team in the prison, mental health, accompaniment to the elderly, hospitals and homeless programs that take place in Murcia.

Solidarity for Development was born more than 25 years ago in the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, where a group of university students and Professor José Carlos García Fajardo started the seminar 'Solidarity' and began their voluntary action collaborating in different projects in Madrid.

Subsequently, similar initiatives emerged in universities in Seville, Granada, Murcia and others.
