What is power? Where is its nature? What is the difference between power and domination? How to exercise it?

These issues affect us directly when we assume them in the first person, and not as a matter of others.

To address them, we will go to the reflections of Spinoza about the potential to live, explains the person in charge of giving the workshops, the philosopher Alejandro Moreno.

A highly recommended initiative for those who like to be trained in issues related to the fundamental relationship between ethics and politics.

BALANCE OF ADULT PHILOSOPHY WORKSHOPS

With this workshop closes the cycle of this trimester of philosophy workshops for adults, framed within the program 'Cartagena Piensa'.

It is an activity that has been focused on self-knowledge through philosophical dialogue where classical themes and authors of philosophy are introduced.

The objective is for attendees to become more aware of their own philosophy of life and to integrate a more mature, lucid and creative vision of themselves.

The educational intention of the philosophy workshops for adults has been to provide a public space where to address fundamental questions about existence, as well as to invite participants to express and clarify what values and beliefs mobilize their lives.

For this, relevant ideas of classical authors of philosophy have been analyzed in relation to self-knowledge and work has been done to recover the character of group exercise, dialogue, living and transforming philosophy.

Alejandro Moreno is "very satisfied with both the attendance and the participation of these workshops.

A very participatory group has been formed that has responded to the philosophy of the project.

It has tried to encourage group thinking, something fundamental for our society. "
