The fifth Conference of Associations and Teams of Competition of the School of Industrialists of the UPCT has refilled this morning the East courtyard of the old Navy Hospital of talent and talent.

Among the creations of the students that have been exhibited was the candy printer developed by the association UPCT Maker and the alumnus José David Trapero, today already professionally dedicated to continue the line of work started at the University, and the non-mechanical switch of the IEEE-UPCT association, which is activated by sensors, without needing to touch it, and without wiring, enabling multiple applications.

The UPCT Racing Team, Moto UPCT, Solar Team and Drone Team teams participated in the event, in which dozens of students from the Polytechnic are turning their knowledge in engineering and business to manufacture competition vehicles with limited budgets and forming departments as in an automobile factory.

"We entered the team looking to apply the theory to practical problems and the experience of dealing with suppliers and having to present results in certain delivery times.

The companies value it a lot, "says Pedro José López, head of marketing at the team that builds a motorcycle racing.

The event was attended by members of the Eagle Patrol and the Navy, as well as various technology companies and entities related to the world of engineering.

The day was inaugurated by the rector of the Polytechnic of Cartagena, Alejandro Díaz, the director of the School of Industrialists, Patricio Franco, and the general director of Universities, Juan Monzó.
