Professionals from the cruise sector will meet at the CARTAGENA CRUISE FORUM on November 14 (31/10/2017)

NP The Port Authority of Cartagena and the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia call and promote the celebration of CARTAGENA CRUISE FORUM on November 14 at the CIM Building of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

This forum will try to present the business opportunities that the cruise traffic offers to Cartagena and the Murcia region with the participation of cruise companies, consignees and experts from the sector.

The event is organized by Cruises News Media Group, a consulting and media company specializing in the cruise industry, and organizer of the International Cruise Summit in Madrid, the Cruise Excellence Awards, whose delivery ceremony was held in Cartagena for the last two years. , as well as various events on the cruise industry throughout the Spanish geography.

The number of cruise passengers that have arrived at the Port of Cartagena in recent years has increased exponentially, with the target for 2017 receiving 150 stopovers and 230,000 cruise passengers, an important increase compared to the 187,800 passengers received in 2016. The importance of the port infrastructure for the development of the industry and the need to offer local tourism services adapted to the trends of the cruise market.

CARTAGENA CRUISE FORUM will analyze not only the world cruise industry, but also its fit in the tourist development of the Region of Murcia and the promotional actions that are carried out by local and regional institutions.

It will highlight the important role played by tour agents and those local companies interested in offering their resources and services can use a system of quick appointments with these agents during the coffee break.

At the round table that closes the forum, all these issues will be discussed by cruise ship executives such as MSC Cruceros, Costa Cruceros and Pullmantur, as well as Mundomar Cruceros and BA Europe, and will be open to public inquiries assistant.
