The version, 'Don Juan', will be staged by this Cartagena theater group, on November 3 at 9:30 pm, in the Windmill Park.

The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, has praised the work of Zorrilla as the best, in his opinion, work written in verse.

The mayor stated that, "the project presented to the council by Ditirambo, they liked immediately, because it takes the theater to the street, outdoors, and because it will be represented in Cerro del Molinete, with the city of Cartagena your feet, and for free. "

El Cerro del Molinete can accommodate between two or three hundred spectators who will remain seated while the actors will be the ones who will move through the windlass.

A complicated staging, with a great technical preparation, especially in lighting, as explained by the director and actor of the theater group Ditirambo, Pepe Ortas.

The actor Pepe Ortas, has contributed more details about the project, "the adaptation of the classic has not been easy, but we did not want to disappoint anyone.Although in the company we have 15 years doing theatrical works, for different scenarios of this city. 'Don Juan' on the street, is not an easy project, and in the year that D. Juan Tenorio reaches two hundred, there was much more responsibility for making a performance that did not disappoint the public. "

The person in charge of adapting the verses of Zorrilla was Manolo Llamas, who is also part of the cast of the seven actors who will take part in the performance.

The complex assembly also has live music, which is responsible Francisco Javier Ortas.

The custom of staging Don Juan Tenorio, by José Zorrilla, around the Day of the Dead is a tradition that has its origins in the mid-nineteenth century and is due to the fact that the dead have a prominent role in the resolution of this work.

David Martinez encourages all Cartagena and visitors to come on November 3 to enjoy this version, 'Don Juan'.

It will be in the Park of the Molinetem to the 21,30 hours with free access until completing capacity.
