The popular race San Silvestre, which closes the sports calendar each year, will play its XXXVI edition on Sunday 31 December in the afternoon, an event whose benefits will be used to collaborate with charities of the municipality.

This has been announced by Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, who has also ensured that there will be the cooperation and experience of the Mandarache Athletics Club for the organization of the event, one of the tests of the region.

"It is a benchmark and a great way to end the year doing sports and having fun."

In this sense, the mayor added that "this year we want to continue improving, for which we will have the experienced organization of CA Mandarache, entity with sole, which will give a plus of quality to the event, thus adding to the work and demonstrated good by the technicians of the Department of Sports in previous editions ".

Finally, the municipal responsible for Sports has pointed out that it will be a solidarity race.

"We will attend to groups that work with people in need, even more at Christmas, and we will live another year the best San Silvestre in the Region."

The technical details will be presented shortly in a press conference where representatives of the organizers and collaborators will participate in the test.
