For this reason, drivers are advised to plan their journeys and to use public transport, thus avoiding traffic retention.

This way, the agents will work this weekend in the different districts and councils of the port city to guarantee the safety of the sportsmen and drivers.

On Saturday, October 7, the day will start with the VII Girls' MTB Chase, which will begin at 9.00 am on the esplanade of the Campus Muralla del Mar, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT).

The participants will travel 30 kilometers in a circuit that will take them through the Montes de San Julián, the battery of Trincabotijas, Vista Alegre and Alumbres.

Also on Saturday, at 13.15 hours, in the Sports Palace, will take place the football match between Plásticos Romero and Murcia team ElPozo.

Local Police have advised fans to go on foot to the countryside, share a vehicle or use public transport.

Already on Sunday, the 8th day, the turn for the 'Day of the bicycle' will arrive, in a day in which the participants will make urban route of 10 kilometers that will start from the place of the Town hall, at 11:00 hours
