The UPCT begins to receive students from China and Korea (06/10/2017)

The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) will receive this course to 3 Chinese students and one Korean.

The educational institution is in contact with the Chongquing Real Estate University in China, to attract university students from that country thus following the policy of the Autonomous Community to approach the Asian country.

The Rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Díaz Morcillo, and the Vice-Rector of International Relations, José Manuel Ferrández, have received the rector, deputy dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Director of International Relations of Chongquing University of Real Estate to discuss the possibility of offer access to university facilities for Chinese students.

Among the possibilities that have been discussed is that of studying a semester of Spanish and then being able to access a degree or master's degree.

In addition to that, during the visit have dealt with other aspects such as double degrees.

The Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena and offers double degrees with the University of Stuttgart in Germany, the University of Napier in Scotland, the Aegean in Turkey, Warsaw in Poland and the Algarve in Portugal.

The Chinese delegation visited the Rectorate, the facilities of the Higher Technical School of Architecture and Construction, Civil and Mining, Faculty and Eldi.

Next week, representatives from the Sichuan University of Commerce, on 11 October, and the Hunan University, will visit on the 13th.
