The Festival, which has the support of the City of Cartagena, gives space to different shows that have no place in other usual cultural programming of the city of Cartagena.

Shows for all types of public, arriving from different places (Madrid, Zamora, Valencia, Murcia) with something in common, they converge different artistic disciplines (Visual Arts, Video, Poetry, Sensorial Theater, Sound Art) t O p ity on the Canteras road, 19, in which: Imagining, feeling, evoking and provoking emotions.

The program of the Festival, which begins this weekend, has been presented by Councilor for Culture, David Martinez, the president of the collective Utopia, Jesus Nieto, and the actress Aisa Boaa.

An event resulting from the collaboration agreement between the Department of Culture of the City and U t O P i a so that innovative artistic proposals that normally do not reach cultural spaces can be represented in Cartagena, explained the Councilor, who has valued the great quality and sensitivity of this festival that has invited all Cartagena.

The Zorro that lost memory, Friday 22 at 18:00 and 20:00 hours of the company Zamora Baychimo Theater, is a multidisciplinary proposal on Alzheimer's that is addressed to children as beings able to understand, discern and play with the stories.

A story told with current codes that wants to present the disease through the symptoms, feelings and feelings that the protagonist lives.

It moves away from the simplistic aesthetics and aesthetics of children's shows.

Baychimo Teatro is one of the most interesting national companies on the current scene, for its mix of disciplines on stage and its way of understanding the family theater that tries to treat children as intelligent spectators.

Passos Perdidos, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 at 7:30 p.m. and 22:00 p.m. Theater in the Air, is a sensorial experience felt where the public is invited to listen, to caress and to sniff out their own existential journey, which is premiered at national level in Cartagena.

The assembly is a meeting with those steps that make every day thousands of people in the world to find their island of Utopia, to nest in the land wherever their steps take you.

Exodus, emigration, the ones with nothing, the NOBODIES, look at them head-on and feel that they are, that they are and deserve a space in this big world where to inhabit.

Teatro en el aire is a Sensorial Theater company created by the Chilean artist Lidia Rodriguez 15 years ago.

His shows are a celebration of life and the pleasure of feeling and feeling alive, like the smell of a soft poem.

Entering the poetics of his shows is to open the doors to an indescribable world where to meet again the other, where to love and feel loved.

Where to recover that common fact that unites any human being.

The company has shown its work in the main festivals of our country and abroad, Some of its experiences are: The Bed, The Secret, The Trip of Nobody, or The Cantina, that we could enjoy last year in U t O p I to Cartagena.

The premiere of Pasos Perdidos, its last production, is realized thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Cartagena.

For the second section of the CON_VER_GEN_TE Festival in Cartagena, on November 3 and 4, both regional and national artists have been selected, the latter being the representative of Andrés Blasco, a musician and experimental performer located in Valencia, better known as TRUNA.

On November 3, 13 poetry will be released. Poetry Unemployed, performed by the actress and performer Aisa Boaa, and accompanied by the music of Raúl Molina de Anda.

The word will travel sliding through the encounter of different poetic expressions, it will be the vehicle that will transport us to the place where the cornered and unemployed poetry resides.

You can hear words from Vicente Huidobro, Mario Benedetti, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz ... and even the poetic prose of Garcia Marquez.

On November 4, we will conclude the CON_VER_GEN_TE 2017 Festival with the experimental concert TRIO TRUNA (Tx3).

This self-defined artist as "luthier-electronic", inventor and designer of the musical instruments he plays, finds his artistic practices in various experimental fields, through experimental rock until he arrives at the sound installation.

He is one of the members of the JOP duo, along with the phonetic poetry performer Bartolomé Ferrando and founding member of "The Other College of 'Pataphysics".

Truna multiplies by three in this sonic bewilderment, interacting with video-recordings in an open musical structure, and making direct sound its invented instruments;

the lectern of the future, the cello-suitcase-magic and the cosmic bull.

This retro-futuristic man-orchestra thus generates an impossible dialogue celebrating the timelessness of the sound medium and the gift of ubiquity.

The shows have a unique price of € 10 for adults and € 7 for children.

The information and reservations of all the shows are made through the mail cartagenautopia@gmail.com
