Contracted by Bosch the student of ADE in the UPCT who has made four Erasmus stays (07/09/2017)

The student of the Faculty of Sciences of the Company Tamara Hernández Pagán has beaten records of international mobility in the UPCT, completing four Erasmus experiences and the cap of 12 months of enjoyment by cycle of higher education of this European program.

After studying and working in Poland and Portugal, the student of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena has obtained a job, even before graduation, in the human resources department of the Portuguese branch of Bosch.

The student of the Polytechnic did in 2015 and 2016 studied during stays of three months in the Polish cities of Bialystok and Opole and has spent the last two summers doing internships in Porto and Aveiro for the companies Moldtrans and Outglocal Consulting, as a result of which has achieved his first job in the Portuguese capital working for the German multinational.

"All my experiences abroad have paid off, so I can not be happier," says the student.

"Every Erasmus has been special.

You know a lot of people, you learn new cultures, other ways of seeing life, "explains Tamara Hernández.

"On a personal level, it is incalculable what makes you mature and make yourself.

At a formative level, it is a constant learning, adapting to new ways of doing things, "he says.

"And during the practices I have been treated as one of the staff, it has been wonderful", summarizes the student of the UPCT.

The student, who will carry out the Final Degree Work that she has left to finish her studies at the UPCT, has managed to master the English and Portuguese languages with her stays abroad.

"To my first Erasmus I arrived without knowing to say anything, because from the institute it did not touch the English, but that changed radically", he remembers.

For Tamara, the best of Erasmus, "the people you know, who for a time are your family and some stay in your life forever," makes it harder to return.

"It's a difficult feeling to explain.

The life that you have had for a whole semester and that you get used to very fast is over from one day to another.

Leaving those people behind is the most painful, "he acknowledges.

In part, because the Erasmus program generates thousands of international couples.

"It's crazy, there are always couples from different places.

I personally love it when I see that people who met in my first Erasmus to this day are still united and continue the relationship in the distance, or have made the decision to live together.

It is something that is lived very intensely and that if you have the opportunity to live it, you never forget it.

It is an experience that stays forever in the heart, "he describes.
