The mayor, José López, presented his resignation this morning.

On Monday, June 19, the cease-fire will be held.

Two days later, on June 21, the plenary session of the socialist councilor, Ana Belén Castejón, will take place as mayor, with the favorable votes of the municipal groups of the Socialist Party, Movimiento Ciudadano and Cartagena Sí Se Puede, according to the document Which they agreed last week and voted favorably to the governing bodies of the three parties.

In this way, the agreement signed on June 13, 2015, by which José López acceded to the Mayor's Office, is answered.
