Juventudes MC on the purchase of the Central Cinema (13/06/2017)

Faced with the accusations and defamations of the Popular Party at local, regional and national level, undermining our party and the mayor of corrupt and committing illegalities with interests after the end of the Peninsular expropriation, Juventudes MC (JMC) clarifies that:

ON THE EXPROPRIATION PROCESS

MC had budgeted the purchase of the Central Cinema for a total of 500,000 €.

The PP of the Region of Murcia presented at the last minute an offer for the property of € 600,000 ... which results in € 100,000 more than the offer made by the municipal government with the sole purpose of "not to hang the medal."

After wasting the PP of the CARM 100,000 € and, to the end of the deadline to implement the municipal budgets, MC had to invest those 500,000 € in another aspect.

He began his plan B: to finalize the expropriation of the Hotel Peninsular that began the PP of Cartagena while he ruled Pilar Barreiro in 2005.

The party that held the Mayor's office at that time was about to pay 1,200,000 € for the building, the reasons for the expropriation being the administrative extension of the Excellency City Council of Cartagena.

Twelve years later, the expropriation for € 500,000 is finalized.

The difference in cost is due to the fall in the price of land per square meter.

ON THE DEFAMATION AND DEMAGOGY OF THE PP

As soon as the intervention became public, the defamation of the PP of Cartagena with Francisco Espejo to the front began: accusations of "buying" the property to a party affiliate;

Of purchase of the building (which is not purchase but expropriation);

Of personal interests behind the transaction;

To cross the mayor and MC of corrupt.

All accusations without foundation, simply smoke with the intention of damaging the image of a political organization to recover the ground lost in the form of votes and, consequently, councilors and mayor.

MC recalled that the corresponding report is available at City Hall and that any cartagenero can request it at the Palace Hall, but the Popular Group of Cartagena did not even ask.

Since then, we have seen members of the PP as Francisco Espejo or Alvaro Valdés, whose salaries are around € 60,000 per year, continually slander bullshit and speculation without arguments.

Also from New Generations of Cartagena, with Manuel Aguirre to the front, and even Francisco Bernabé, deputy of the PP in the Congress of the Deputies.

Recall that the PP filed a motion to investigate said event and MC voted in favor of the motion unanimously and also asked to investigate the entire process of expropriation, something that is denied categorically from the PP of Cartagena ... why it will be ?

From Juventudes MC we are ashamed that the party with more votes in Cartagena is dedicated to defaming against Lopez and not to make politics.

Although not surprising: they are capable of everything.

After twenty years of government of waste and corruption with Pilar Barreiro to the front and councilors that continue in the ranks of the PP, like the imputed Joaquín Segado (that wasted more than 100,000 € in projecting the AVE station of Mandarache, at the moment is the president of the Group Popular), Francisco Espejo (the leader of defamation) or Alvaro Valdés, who despite knowing that the mayor had to be absent in a plenary for attending the funeral after the death of a close friend who had just been a father, did not hesitate In using such misfortune as demagoguery, stating that the mayor left the Plenary to go on vacation, just like that.

We want the PP of Cartagena to abandon the path of lies and demagoguery to enter into the politics of truth.
